Many are familiar with the HBO series Band of Brother. Honestly, after a friend of mine turned me onto it, it has been far and above my favorite mini-series. I was surprised to learn though that the series originated from a book written by Stephen Ambrose. As soon as i found this out i bought the book without hesitation and recommend anyone else who was intrigued by the series to the same. Ill let you know how the book is compared to the series.
